MagicBase has come a long way in a short time — but honestly, this still feels like day one. I wanted to share a bit of what’s on the roadmap, both to keep you in the loop and because some of it depends on people like you.
Partnering with bigger creators and magic platforms
The single biggest thing I’m working toward long-term is real partnerships — with larger magic creators and with established magic platforms. Not just a logo swap or a one-off shoutout, but actual collaborations that make MagicBase genuinely more useful for the community: shared content, better onboarding for a creator’s audience, maybe even co-built features down the line.

An actual iOS and Android app
Right now, MagicBase runs as a website — and it works well, but I know it doesn’t quite feel like „an app“ yet. That’s changing. A native iOS and Android version is planned, so MagicBase lives on your home screen like any other app, with everything that comes with that.
In the meantime, there’s already a decent workaround: open MagicBase in your mobile browser and add it to your home screen as a shortcut. It won’t have every native-app perk yet, but it gets you a one-tap icon and a much more app-like feel today, while the real thing is being built.
Supporting the next generation of magicians
This one means a lot to me personally. I’m working on a close collaboration with an organization that supports young, up-and-coming magicians — helping them learn, practice, and get access to the kind of structure MagicBase is built around. Part of this could also mean something in person, potentially based in Munich. Nothing is locked in yet, but it’s a direction I care deeply about: magic has given me a lot, and I’d like MagicBase to help pass that forward.
A few more things simmering
Beyond the three big ones above, some smaller (but real) ideas on my list:
- Broader categories — right now MagicBase leans heavily on card magic. Mentalism, coins, ropes, cube/puzzle magic, and gimmick-based effects are all on the table for a more flexible category system.
- More languages — MagicBase currently speaks English and German. Expanding that further is on the list as the community grows.
- Community features — ways to (optionally) share a trick, a show, or a training streak with other magicians, without turning your personal repertoire into a public performance.
